Terms of use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This is an early draft under legal review before the official launch, and it may change.
Your account
The account owner is responsible for their sign-in details, their team's permissions, and the accuracy of the information they enter about their company.
AI employees
- AI employees work from the instructions and knowledge your company sets, and they can make mistakes.
- Every AI employee has a human manager from your team, and important decisions wait for their approval.
- Your company is responsible for reviewing anything published or sent in its name.
Acceptable use
You may not use Compy to send spam or unlawful messages, to impersonate anyone, or for any activity that harms users or the platform. WhatsApp messages must follow Meta's policies.
Subscription and payment
- The subscription is monthly, for each human seat and each active AI employee.
- Usage beyond the monthly allowance comes out of extra credit, and never goes past the spend cap you set.
- Suggestions you haven't activated are not charged.
- Any price change is announced before it applies.
Data
Your company's data belongs to you. How we use it is governed by the privacy policy.
Pausing and cancelling
You can pause any AI employee or cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms after a warning, except where there is direct harm.
Limitation of liability
We provide the platform on a best-effort basis, and our liability is limited to what you paid for your subscription in the last 3 months, as far as the law allows.
